Our Mission Statement
EKU Housing fosters the development, engagement, and success of our residential community by providing an inclusive home that enhances the collegiate experience.
We provide a vibrant living and learning environment for over 4,000 residential students. We offer a wide range of activities and opportunities for residents to engage and learn from faculty, staff, and fellow residents both inside and outside the hall.
Resident Assistants are integral to the goals of EKU Housing by providing community development, academic resources, and policy enforcement in the residence halls. RAs are student leaders that wish to make a positive impact on the university campus. As a Resident Assistant, students gain several marketable skills that translate into a variety of majors and careers. These skills include communication, marketing and budgeting, crisis management, and staff development. Tangentially, RAs receive free living accommodations and the opportunity to earn extra cash by serving as a desk clerk.
Apply for the “2016 – 2017 Resident Assistant” position on the EKU jobs website. Applications must be received by February 7th in order to qualify!
